# MotoLert radar catalog

This is a published snapshot, not a live enforcement feed. Each record retains its
source identifier. Entries sharing an OpenStreetMap node ID are deduplicated;
different sources may still describe the same physical camera.

  Retrieval date and method are recorded in `sources.addresses` in the JSON.
  These are landmarks within 100 m, not a verified controlled road or direction.

International street enrichment uses named OSM highways that actually contain
the camera node. The node must still be within 5 metres of its imported GPS
position, and conflicting street names are rejected. `roadMatch` records the
way IDs, method and retrieval date. This is not a guessed nearby postal address
and does not identify the enforced direction. Unmatched roads remain unknown.

The JSON includes source dates, synchronization metadata and checksums for the
geography inputs. Geography was calculated from simplified polygons and the
nearest GeoNames settlement within 25 km. These labels are approximate, not
certified addresses. Country `xx` means that no reliable polygon match was found.
No speed, address, operational status or traffic direction has been invented.

No user account data, journey history or community location sharing is included.
Swiss camera positions and source IDs are excluded pending legal review of the
Swiss Federal Roads Office restrictions. Only an aggregate withheld count remains.
This database licence does not cover the MotoLert trademark, software or original
editorial content.
