Our valley, from St. Vith to Ouren

In the East Cantons, the Our valley forms the border with Germany and then Luxembourg, a hiking area crossed by the GR 56 and the cross-border NatOur trails. From St. Vith, the road meets the river at Steinebrück and follows it to Burg-Reuland, overlooked by the ruins of its castle, whose origins go back to the 12th century. It ends at the border village of Ouren, near the Europe monument that marks the meeting point of the three countries and is the start of several walking loops. Small, winding and sometimes narrow roads, with short stretches across the border.
