Motorcycle ride in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur

Verdon Gorge loop

92 km (57 miles), 2 hr 15 min, intermediate

A loop around the largest canyon in Europe. Starting from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, the right bank leads to La Palud and the Point Sublime; the way back takes the Corniche Sublime via Trigance, the Balcons de la Mescla and Aiguines, above Lake Sainte-Croix. Narrow road, very busy in summer: ride early in the morning.
