Black Forest High Road (B500)

The Schwarzwaldhochstraße links Baden-Baden to Freudenstadt over the summits of the northern Black Forest. Long, sweeping bends through the forest, views over the Rhine plain and the Vosges, and possible stops at the Mummelsee lake and the Ruhestein. Very busy with riders at weekends: speed limits and frequent checks.
