Motorcycle ride in Limburg

South Limburg hills

52 km (32 miles), 1 hr 25 min, beginner

South Limburg has the only real hills in the Netherlands. From Valkenburg, the road passes Gulpen and Epen, climbs the Vaalserberg, the country's highest point and the tripoint with Belgium and Germany, then returns through Simpelveld and Klimmen to Valkenburg. Small roads between orchards and half-timbered farms.
