The Lesse, very popular in summer with kayakers and hikers between Houyet and Anseremme, crosses a limestone Famenne full of caves and nature reserves. From Rochefort, the road heads to Han-sur-Lesse, in the heart of the Famenne-Ardenne Geopark, with its caves and geological walk, then follows the river through Villers-sur-Lesse to Houyet. After Celles, listed among the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, it passes near Vêves Castle before reaching Furfooz, whose park offers a walk of about 4 km above the Lesse, and then Dinant. Easy roads, but the villages are narrow and very busy on fine days.
