Silkeborg lakes and Himmelbjerget

The hilliest landscape in Denmark, among the lakes and forests of central Jutland. From Silkeborg, the road follows the lakes via Svejbæk to Ry, then climbs through the forest to Himmelbjerget, one of the highest hills in the country, with its tower and its view over Lake Julsø. Gentle bends and plenty of stops by the water.
