A triangle of moorland roads in north Wales, made famous by the motoring press. From Cerrigydrudion, the A5 leads to Pentrefoelas, the A543 runs over the high ground to the Sportsman’s Arms, and the B4501 returns past Llyn Brenig. Straights, bumps and fast bends; lowered speed limits and frequent speed checks.
