From Sonthofen, the road climbs via Bad Hindelang to the Oberjoch pass, known for its 106 bends, one of the twistiest in Germany. It then crosses the Allgäu meadows via Wertach and Nesselwang to Pfronten. Frequent speed and noise checks on the climb.
