Motorcycle ride in the State of Mexico

Valle de Bravo road

87 km (54 miles), 3 hr 30 min, intermediate

A classic ride for bikers from the Mexico City area. From Toluca, the road passes Zinacantepec, crosses pine forests and farming valleys through Amanalco, then winds down to Valle de Bravo, a colonial village on the shore of its lake. High altitude, and frequent afternoon showers in the rainy season.
